Triple-Shaft Geared Drive System  TKO horizontal screens use a triple-shaft, geared drive to generate controlled elliptical motion for efficient material stratification and separation. By distributing excitation forces across three synchronized shafts, the design reduces peak stress at side plates and deck supports — improving screening efficiency, reducing structural fatigue, and extending service life in high-tonnage, high-impact applications.

Adjustable Ellipse and Stroke Geometry  Adjustable ellipse angle and stroke geometry allow the screen action to be tuned for applications ranging from heavy scalping to fine screening. Units are suitable for dry screening as well as wet screening and washing duties.

Heavy-Duty Frame Construction  Side plates are fabricated from 5/16 in ultra-high-strength steel with certified impact resistance for sub-zero operating conditions. The screen frame is engineered for a high stiffness-to-weight ratio to minimize resonance and improve fatigue life. Gearbox housings are mounted on both the interior and exterior of the side plates, increasing fastener count in tension and reducing localized stress concentrations. Pre-cut knockout provisions are standard for future wet-kit installation.

Multi-Deck Configurations  Available in standard U.S. sizes from 5 ft × 16 ft to 8 ft × 20 ft with two- to four-deck configurations. Crowned deck arrangements support self-cleaning wire cloth or polyurethane media, while flat deck designs accommodate modular polyurethane systems.

Design Intent  Triple-shaft screens are engineered for applications where structural stability, motion control, and consistent performance under variable feed conditions are critical. The result is a screen that maintains aggressive material movement while delivering improved efficiency and longer service life compared to conventional two-shaft horizontal designs.
